Venice Art Weekend

Published on 27/08/2025

For the 3rd year, our Venice Art Weekend opens a new chapter.
This edition shines a light on Hong Yi Zhuang, whose paintings on acrylic and rice paper carry both fragility and depth; Hedwige Leroux, sculpting bronze into forms filled with emotion; and Leo & Steph, creators of the iconic Kid Cup, symbols of pop vibrancy.
A weekend to experience art in all its forms, in the most timeless of cities.

OUR GUESTS OF HONOUR

HONG YI ZHUANG

Acrylic & Rice paper paintings

Zhuang Hong-Yi is a leading Chinese-European artist known for his sculptural floral works that blend Eastern tradition with Western contemporary aesthetics. Born in 1962 in Sichuan, his vibrant pieces—handcrafted from painted rice paper—speak a universal language of beauty, joy, and peace. With exhibitions around the world, Zhuang invites viewers to reconnect with nature and wonder, making art a deeply emotional and uplifting experience.

HEDWIGE LEROUX

HEDWIGE LEROUX

Bronze Sculptures

Trained at the Uccle Academy of Art and later by sculptor Luo Li Rong, Hedwige Leroux has developed a deeply personal body of work centered on the female figure. She creates elongated, elegant forms—both timeless and modern—and oversees each piece from clay to bronze with great care. Her distinctive style blends delicacy, strength, and poetic expression.

LEO & SPETH

LEO & STEPH

Creators of Kid Cup

Leo & Steph, a dynamic Franco-Brazilian artistic duo, have made a lasting impact on the global art scene with their iconic creation KID CUP — a gender-neutral embodiment of the joyful, eternal inner child. Leo, a versatile designer and art director based in Paris, and Stéphane, an experienced TV producer with a passion for playful art, combine their talents and cultures to craft a vibrant, optimistic universe. Their collaboration sparks a burst of creativity and enchantment that resonates worldwide.
