He studied at Ecole des Beaux-Arts from 1997 to 1981 in Armenia. He had many solo shows all over Europe since 1993 (in Paris, Rome and Seville to name a few). He also took part in several group shows since 1988, from Yerevan (Armenia) to Moscow, Paris and New-York.    TIGRAN HAMASYAN A PIANO SOLO SEATED SHOWCASE The famous Armenian pianist and jazz composer Tigran Hamasyan (born in 1987) considers himself a student of the art of melody. He plays mostly original compositions, which are strongly influenced by the Armenian folk tradition, often using its scales and modalities. In addition to Tigran's folk influence, he is influenced by American jazz traditions.      |
